With Bruegala opening on September 11th, Patriot’s Day, we have an opportunity to give back to those servicemen & women who dedicate their lives to improving the quality of ours. Police, firefighters, and military personnel who present a valid ID (active or inactive, from any community) will receive half price door admission ($5) to Bruegala on September 11th. To take advantage of this offer, tickets must be purchased at the door upon arrival to the festival.

The Bloomington-Normal Jaycees will hold their annual beer festival, Bruegala – A Festival of International Beer on Friday, September 11 from 6:00 until 10:00 and Saturday, September 12 from 2:00 until midnight.

The Jaycees have chosen the local chapter of the Boys and Girls club as the beneficiary of this year’s event.

Brüegala is a festival of international beer, boasting more than 200 brews from near and far. This event, held each September by the Bloomington-Normal Jaycees, is celebrating its 9th anniversary.

Each year, the festival draws larger and larger crowds of cheerful beer lovers from across the Midwest. Every attendee receives a souvenir tasting glass, along with access to great beers, live music and event merchandise. A bags tournament will ensue on Saturday starting at 5:30.
